Key Responsibilities

  • •Craft, implement, debug, and validate firmware features on reference hardware and pre-silicon emulation/simulation environments.
  • •Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and project planning.
  • •Build and complete clear documentation for software produced.
  • •Engage in work across internal and external platforms.
  • •Support areas including x86 firmware development, embedded firmware and bootrom/HW work, and debugging FW/HW boundaries with waveform-level analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •Currently enrolled in a US-based university in a Master’s program.
  • •Master’s major in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Knowledge/experience with low-level BIOS, firmware, or system software development.
  • •Experience with low-level C/C++ and an understanding of hardware architectures.
  • •Familiarity with embedded systems/RTOS and tools such as Linux environments and source control/debugging toolchains.
