Key Responsibilities

  • •Work Monday to Wednesday 0700 to 1630 onsite delivering high-quality mental health care to Defence members
  • •Conducting fitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care
  • •Undertaking assessments, interventions, formulating treatment and care plans for individuals and group education sessions
  • •Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment where patient wellness is paramount

Key Requirements

  • •Unrestricted AHPRA general registration as a Psychologist
  • •Minimum two years’ Post Graduate experience within last five years in mental health within a Primary Healthcare Setting or Specialist Mental Health Setting
  • •Comprehensive assessment skills and experience in ‘Focussed Psychological Strategies’ and ‘Psychological Therapy’ as per Medicare Schedule
  • •Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
  • •Australian Citizenship required for Baseline Security Clearance
