Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals; order parts; and diagnose equipment issues using real-time data.
  • •Practice safe job practices when repairing equipment and follow OSHA requirements (preferred).
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures in the shop and at customer locations; perform preventive maintenance and repairs for power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC, and oil-free air compressors.
  • •Travel to customer job sites as required to set up and operate equipment, working individually or with another technician(s).
  • •Maintain complete daily work documentation and assist with pick-up/delivery and training of lower-level technicians as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Own tools applicable to the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience inspecting, maintaining, and repairing power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment.
  • •Ability to read schematics and calculate nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements.
  • •Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, and be at least 21 to operate a company vehicle.
  • •High school diploma (trade school preferred) and ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen and background check.
