Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the key day-to-day client interface and deliver value-added cost management services to meet project objectives.
  • •Estimate, negotiate, and manage change orders across the construction lifecycle, producing and presenting final cost plans and updates at design milestones.
  • •Review contractor and subcontractor pricing, reconcile changes, support general contractor accuracy, and lead negotiations for fair contract pricing.
  • •Manage cost checks and valuations on larger projects, including post-contract cost variances, change control processes, contingency management, and commitment tracking logs.
  • •Produce monthly cost reports and support funding data presentations and VE sessions with stakeholders; manage final accounts and maintain built cost records for benchmarking.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 5-7 years of relevant cost management experience in the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or actively working towards it (preferred).
  • •Experience leading cost management on medium or large-scale, moderate-to-high complexity construction projects.
  • •Strong communication skills and experience supporting technically complex projects such as life sciences, laboratories, research, healthcare, or commercial construction (preferred).
