Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead a team to deliver excellent customer service across food and beverage outlets while supporting sales and unit performance.
  • •Create and deliver sales plans to achieve unit sales targets and control associated costs (staff costs, consumables, gross profit, and other controllable costs).
  • •Manage stock system operations to maintain product availability and minimize waste, including supporting monthly stocktake analysis.
  • •Ensure safe, compliant operations including standard operating procedures/brand guidelines, health and safety requirements, COSHH, HACCP, allergen recording, and food and alcohol licensing compliance.
  • •Provide leadership through coaching, training plans, job chats, and performance and development reviews; deputise for the manager when required.

Key Requirements

  • •Educated to NVQ level 3 in a relevant subject area or can demonstrate the required level of knowledge through experience in commercial food service.
  • •Considerable experience at a supervisory or management level within a commercial food service and preparation environment.
  • •Hold a current Food Safety level 4 certificate.
  • •Current Personal License holder for the sale of alcohol (or willing to obtain with training and support).
  • •Full, clean driving license, as the role may involve driving University vehicles.
