Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement a comprehensive contract management process in collaboration with internal stakeholders to support successful project execution.
  • •Develop and execute equipment and services procurement strategies focused on construction projects.
  • •Perform market analysis to determine should-costs and secure the best purchasing deals for diverse projects.
  • •Create and negotiate contract documents with the legal department, and manage vendor relationships to ensure adherence and resolution of delivery/performance issues.
  • •Track and report projected vs. actual spend, assess budgetary risk, lead cost-reduction initiatives, and present value propositions to management.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, operations/supply chain management, master production scheduling, or construction/facilities/industrial plant management, or 9+ years in lieu of a degree.
  • •Experience developing procurement strategies for equipment and services, including construction-related categories.
  • •Strong contract negotiation and contract document management skills, including collaboration with Legal.
  • •Strong budget tracking, cost analytical skills, and the ability to assess budgetary risk using spend forecasts.
  • •Construction project management experience and/or construction cost estimate experience.
