Key Responsibilities

  • •Safeguard accuracy, integrity, and regulatory compliance of inventory management and quality assurance processes in the pharmaceutical fulfillment center.
  • •Own end-to-end inventory control for pharmaceutical products, including inbound receiving, inspection, stowing, and ensuring inventory accuracy, lot traceability, and expiration/beyond-use dates.
  • •Supervise inventory reconciliation, cycle counting, and audit procedures; investigate discrepancies using cause-and-effect analysis and implement preventive measures.
  • •Maintain SOX compliance for inventory operations, including quarterly SOX counts and alignment of counting schedules with established deadlines.
  • •Lead and develop the IC team of salaried area managers and up to ~30 hourly associates, including recruiting, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Active Pharmacist license (RPh or PharmD) in good standing.
  • •Thorough understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), including experience conducting or overseeing SOX counts.
  • •Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks for pharmaceutical distribution, including state board of pharmacy regulations, DEA/controlled substance handling, Good Distribution Practices (GDP), and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP).
  • •Strong analytical, root-cause, and risk management skills to translate findings into process improvements.
  • •Ability to lead a team of salaried managers and hourly associates (up to ~30) in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
