Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive hands-on training and perform duties across the distribution center, including operations, management, and purchasing.
  • •Observe experienced employees to learn methods, procedures, and standards for successful operations.
  • •Shadow contractors/builders, service/maintenance, and retail store customers to learn the swimming pool, irrigation, and landscaping business.
  • •Participate in classroom training sessions covering operations, financials, leadership, human capital management, and operating systems.
  • •Provide a comprehensive presentation to senior management at the end of the 6-month program; complete other assigned duties and special projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Management, Operations, or a related discipline with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
  • •Work experience in a leadership and/or problem-solving role (or relevant distribution/supply chain internship, organizations/clubs, volunteer work, athletics, or military leadership in lieu).
  • •Ability and desire to work in a distribution warehouse environment.
  • •Results-driven self-starter with strong leadership skills; able to lead and develop a team with rapidly changing priorities.
  • •Ability to relocate during and after the program, travel 25% of the time, and lift up to 75 pounds while maneuvering heavy equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.).
