Key Responsibilities

  • •Review and assess medical and non-medical insurance applications using underwriting guidelines and company policies.
  • •Analyze medical reports and supporting documents to determine appropriate underwriting decisions within SLA targets.
  • •Escalate complex cases to senior underwriters and ensure complete, accurate documentation within underwriting systems.
  • •Respond to underwriting-related enquiries from customers, agents, brokers, and internal stakeholders via phone/email and other channels.
  • •Support underwriting operations and compliance, maintain records and case tracking, and contribute to process improvement and system enhancements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medical Technology, Health Sciences, Insurance, or a related field.
  • •2 years of experience in Medical Underwriting, Policy Management, or a related insurance function.
  • •Basic understanding of insurance and underwriting principles.
  • •Professional insurance qualifications (e.g., CII, ACII, LOMA) are an advantage.
  • •Ability to interpret medical information and supporting documents, with strong attention to detail.
