Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop the Python discovery engine on customer-deployed gateways, plus Java/Kotlin cloud services for discovered data.
  • •Build systems to discover privileged accounts, service accounts, keys, machines, and related identity data across Active Directory, cloud IAM, databases, and endpoints.
  • •Implement identity correlation and reconciliation to determine when accounts across systems represent the same principal.
  • •Create incremental re-scan and state-reconciliation capabilities to maintain accurate environment views without duplicate or stale data.
  • •Develop test coverage, diagnostic tooling, and secure data-processing workflows aligned with Keeper’s zero-knowledge architecture.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of professional backend-focused software development, with strong distributed systems experience.
  • •Strong Python experience for the Discovery engine.
  • •Working proficiency in Java or Kotlin for backend services, and comfort with TypeScript/React for admin interface changes.
  • •Experience with Active Directory and/or LDAP.
  • •Hands-on experience with APIs and data-processing pipelines, plus secure software development practices (authentication, authorization, encryption).
