Key Responsibilities

  • •Under the Consultant Physician’s supervision, diagnose and treat patients according to best-practice standards for dermatology.
  • •Assist in supervising junior medical staff and jointly assume responsibility for their care.
  • •Lead ward rounds and reassess inpatients and outpatients regularly; document clinical information accurately and timely.
  • •Review investigation results and modify treatment as required; liaise with other specialties and support services.
  • •Support quality and safety through quality improvement initiatives, regular audits, and reporting/investigation/response to untoward incidents; participate in clinical research and publication.

Key Requirements

  • •Tier 1: No additional experience required post board certification, or Tier 2: 2+ years of clinical experience post qualification in an internationally accredited institute, or Tier 3: 3+ years of clinical experience as a Specialist post qualification in an internationally accredited institute.
  • •Board certification is required (experience requirements vary by tier).
  • •UAE nationals may have no additional experience required post board certification (per the posting).
  • •Comply with hospital policies for admissions, consultations, daily patient care, surgical procedures, discharge, outpatient and follow-up practices.
