Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive repair orders and perform work as outlined, efficiently and accurately, per dealership and factory standards.
  • •Diagnose malfunctions, complete repairs, and communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
  • •Examine vehicles for additional safety/service work, notify the service advisor as needed, and document work performed.
  • •Road-test vehicles when required (or refer to the test technician) and keep customer vehicles from being used for personal errands.
  • •Supervise apprentice technicians as assigned and attend factory-sponsored training while keeping up with technical bulletins and safety policies.
