Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as a lead consultant and primary point of contact for clients on Health & Welfare Benefits.
  • •Negotiate terms, conditions, coverage limits, and pricing with carriers and wholesalers.
  • •Maintain project plans to ensure client deliverables are completed on time; oversee implementations of new business.
  • •Explain legislative guidelines (COBRA, HIPPA, ERISA, Section 125, Health Care Reform) and interpret plan rules for compliance with Plan Documents and SPDs.
  • •Ensure client data is entered into CRM System (Salesforce) in a timely manner and delegate/review work for accuracy.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of health and welfare consulting experience required.
  • •More than 5 years industry and product line experience.
  • •Knowledge of benefits administration and HealthCare Reform, plus carrier products and services.
  • •Life, Accident and Health Insurance License required.
  • •BA/BS preferred.
