Job Summary

Lead technical discussions with Commercial and Enterprise prospects and customers, ensuring Vanta is a strong technical fit for security goals. Partner with Sales to create innovative solutions, build customer confidence early, and support customers through trial to drive retention. Develop deep product and integration understanding, produce examples and documentation, and relay customer feedback to help prioritize functionality and shape product messaging and roadmap decisions.

•Develop deep understanding of Vanta capabilities, integrations, configurations, messaging, partner ecosystem, and the competitive landscape.
•Listen to prospects and clients to provide market feedback and help prioritize functionality needed for sales opportunities.
•Support customers through their trial process and build product examples, documentation, and resources.
•Help improve the pre-to-post sales transition by identifying and driving new programs and collecting feedback (e.g., case studies, references).

Key Requirements

•4+ years of customer-facing, technical experience as a solutions engineer, sales engineer, or equivalent title.
•Previous B2B SaaS experience.
•Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure) and operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux), including cloud application architecture.
•Strong project management skills and ability to operate in a startup environment with less structure.
•General scripting knowledge (Python, Ruby, Bash, JavaScript) and familiarity with REST API development and service integrations (plus cybersecurity experience if possible).
