Key Responsibilities

  • •Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of 4–5 engineers with strong technical ownership.
  • •Coach engineers through feedback, career development, calibration, and performance management.
  • •Stay hands-on via architecture, pair programming, coding, code reviews, and on-call.
  • •Partner with product and design to define requirements, shape roadmaps, scope work, plan sprints, and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • •Drive system design, code quality, observability, reliability, and scalability, including building AI-assisted workflows for accurate chart notes and quality signals.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of professional software engineering experience with modern full-stack technologies, plus 2+ years of hands-on engineering management experience.
  • •Experience hiring engineers and managing performance, promotions, and career development.
  • •Ability to stay technical enough to pair program and contribute directly when needed.
  • •Exceptional product judgment, including ability to write PRDs, critique designs, and size opportunities while keeping progress moving.
  • •Proficiency with React, TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL (or similar modern stacks), with experience shipping production systems.
