Job Summary

Lead and manage rail project teams supporting WSP’s Rail business for the Global Capability Centre (GCC). Drive strategic unit goals, resource planning, succession, and staff development while establishing high-performance collaboration. Oversee end-to-end project delivery—concept through completion—ensuring time, quality, and budget standards, and optimize workflows for efficiencies. Provide senior technical oversight, client leadership, and clear strategic updates to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage and lead multi-disciplinary rail project teams delivering complex rail business projects for client accounts.
•Set and drive unit strategic goals aligned to broader organizational objectives.
•Oversee end-to-end project planning and delivery from concept to completion, meeting time, quality, and budget requirements.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define project parameters and maintain client focus.
•Provide senior technical oversight, act as a senior point of contact for stakeholders, and present progress and analytical insights to senior leadership.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the relevant field.
•At least 15 years of experience delivering rail infrastructure projects/services in a consulting engineering environment.
•Chartered Professional (or equivalent).
•Experience delivering solutions compliant with international and local design standards.
•Strong understanding of planning and design processes, technical approvals/consents, contract procedures/financial controls, and commercial awareness across bidding and delivery.
