Software Engineer

Design, prototype, develop, and debug software solutions for semiconductor equipment components and devices. You’ll build and troubleshoot complex code with limited supervision, define software specifications and test plans for lab tools, and communicate with internal/external customers to analyze requirements and resolve issues. This role blends deep system understanding, software documentation, and rigorous testing to ensure quality and functionality, helping Applied maintain leadership in semiconductor and display technologies.
