Company update
A note on sunsetting Fursa
After twenty months of building Fursa, we are winding down the product and company.
This article keeps its original context and publication date.
After twenty months of building Fursa, I’ve made the difficult decision to sunset the product.
Fursa started with a simple idea: make finding a great job less painful.
Since then, Fursa has processed more than 2 million jobs, built a database spanning thousands of companies, and helped thousands of people with their job search. In August 2026 alone, 5,840 people used Fursa. There were also a few agents too that used our MCP services. :)
For most of that time, Fursa was a one-person company. That meant I had the chance to build nearly every part of it myself, from the infrastructure and data pipelines to the product, distribution, and supporting users.
I’m incredibly proud of what we built. Along the way, I learned an enormous amount about applied AI, autonomous agents, marketplaces, distribution, and what it takes to build and operate a product end to end. Far more than I could fit into a single post.
Building Fursa has also meant making difficult choices about where to spend my time, energy, and resources. I’ve decided that, rather than take Fursa into its next chapter, it’s time for me to prioritize other things.
The product will not disappear overnight.
The free candidate experience will remain available for some time, so you can continue browsing and applying to jobs. If you have an account with us, you may get in touch directly with me at [email protected] to understand what is changing and instructions for exporting any data you want to keep.
Thank you to everyone who used Fursa, recommended it to a friend, sent feedback, reported a bug, or simply gave us a chance.
It has been a privilege to build for you.
